The IFOAM EU Group invites European experts in the field of organic food and farming to its seminar in Hungary. The topic of the seminar is ‘Sustainable agriculture in Europe – the role of organic food and farming and its political framework’.
This seminar is co-financed by the European Community, Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development.
After the seminar the participants have the opportunity to join a one day-excursion to organic farms and processors in Hungary.


Timeline of the seminar and seminar related events

The provisional agenda of the seminar as well as the events related to it looks as follows:
  • September 17: Strategy Group meeting in Budapest
  • September 17 (morning): Pre-seminar press conference in the ministry of agriculture in Budapest
  • September 18-19: SEMINAR in Hortobagy
  • September 20 - 21: Excursion to Hortobagy National Park and organic farm

Registration for the seminar

It is essential that you register your participation! Please do so by sending the registration form to michaela.senek@ifoam-eu.org by August 31 2008.

Any person registering after that date will have to carry the additional expenses of €50.

THERE IS NO NEED FOR YOU TO BOOK ACCOMMODATION – WE WILL DO THAT FOR YOU UPON RECEIPT OF YOUR REGISTRATION FORM!
