Company profile
 Lebensbaum, founded in 1979 as an organic food store, is today one of the most important organic food companies in Germany. The company is specialized in organic tea, coffee, herbs and spices.
Lebensbaum demonstrates high social and environmental responsibility on local and international level. This includes fair and long-term partnerships with suppliers as well as a sustainable policy when it comes to the company’s facilities in Germany. Superior insulation of all buildings, 100 per cent green electricity, a geothermal power installation resulting in zero greenhouse gas emissions are just some examples of the company’s sustainability management.
To complete Lebensbaum’s philosophy of a sustainable future, the Lebensbaum foundation supports since 2007 social, educational and environmental projects worldwide.
