At the BioFach 2013, IFOAM EU Group organised a seminar on the Green Public Procurement. The seminar was moderated by Andrzej Szeremeta (IFOAM EU Group) with invited speakers Dr. Niels Heine Kristensen (Aalborg University) and Mr. Mark Stein (Salford University Business School).


During the European Organic Conference, organised by IFOAM EU Group in Denmark 2012, the importance of the GPP came into discussion. A full workshop session on promoting sustainable and healthy food consumption - organic label, promotional measures and green public procurement, took place.
