The European Commission's "Expert group for technical advice on organic production" |

Through the Commission decision of September 28th 2010, as it was recommended by the Commission Action Plan on Organic Food and Farming, an independent expert panel for technical advice has been established.
Considering the developments in organic rules of production and the constant evolution of the sector the Commission felt a need for technical assistance regarding organic production in general. Therefore it has been decided to replace the temporary "ad-hoc expert groups" by a permanent one composed of scientists and experts related to our sector.
This new group gathers 13 permanent members and a pool list has been set up, their names are available in the "Group members" document to download in the right column. For more specific information, rules of procedure or declarations of interests, please visit the EU Commission's Organic unit's website.
Minutes and other documents from the expert group's meetings will be uploaded here, as they become available to us.
