Work areas of IFOAM EU Group

Regulation - Working on the implementation, evaluation and review of the EU organic regulations (EC) No 834/2007, No 889/2008 and 1235/2008 according to the IFOAM standards.

Policy - Working to achieve an effective European organic action plan and in the longer term working with other like minded organisations to lobby for a more sustainable CAP.


Projects  - Participating in relevant  projects, especially in dissemination of results.

Research

Promoting the innovation potential of the organic sector and lobbying to have its research priorities included in Horizon 2020, the forthcoming EU Framework for Research and Innovation - Improving knowledge exchange within the organic sector
