The IFOAM EU Group is organising an European Organic Congress, to be held in Brussels on December 4 to 5,2007.
This event will be a large-scale forum of the organic sector in Europe, which is expected to bring together at least 200 participants representing: the European Commission, authorities and organisations from the EU Member States, Members of Parliament and a broad range of stakeholders from all over Europe.
This Conference will focus on the future EU policy on organic food and farming within the Common Agriculture Policy (CAP) and will evaluate the implementation of the European Action Plan on Organic Food and Farming three and half years after it was launched.
