Nature of the group
The IFOAM Farmers Group is an organ within IFOAM, organizing farmers’ and farm-workers’ organizations.
Objective
The purpose of the IFOAM Farmers Group is:
- to pursue IFOAM’s objectives among organic farmers and farm-workers
- to represent its affiliates within IFOAM
- to represent its affiliates to the outside
- to give farmers a voice in IFOAM
- to build bridges between farmers from north to south and from east to west
