How to apply for IFOAM Membership
All organizations and individuals involved in the Organic sector can apply for IFOAM membership. There are 3 main statuses:
  • Member (More 50% of activities related to Organic activities) - They enjoy all the Membership benefits and have the right to vote at the General Assembly
  • Associate (Less than 50% of activities related to Organic activities): Associates enjoy all the Membership Benefits but do not have the right to vote at the General Assembly
  • Supporter (Individual)

FOR ORGANIZATIONS: MEMBERS AND ASSOCIATES 


Please make sure:

Step 1 - that the organization fulfils all IFOAM requirements for Membership as described in the IFOAM Membership terms & conditions

Step 2 - that the application form for organizations (available in  English, Spanish, Chinese French, Turkish , Japanese) is filled out, signed, and sent to us by fax, +49 228 92650 99, by email, membership@ifoam.org or by post, IFOAM e.V., Charles-de-Gaulle-Str. 5, 53115 Bonn, Germany

Step 3 - that the registration fee (60 Euros) and the membership fee of the first year (according to your budget/turnover related to Organic, please refer to the fee scheme) are paid in a one-off payment. The invoice is sent after receiving the signed application form and is to be paid two weeks from the reception of the invoice by email.


FOR INDIVIDUALS: SUPPORTERS
   
Please make sure:

Step 1 - that you have read and understood the IFOAM Membership terms & conditions.

Step 2 - that the application form for individuals is filled out, signed, and send to us by fax, +49 228 92650 99, by email, membership@ifoam.org, or by post, IFOAM e.V., Charles-de-Gaulle-Str. 5, 53115 Bonn, Germany

Step 2 - that the membership fee of the first year (according to your income) is paid. The invoice is sent after receiving the signed application form and is to be paid two weeks from the reception of the invoice by email.
