The Standards Committee (SC)
The Standards Committee (SC) develops the IFOAM Basic Standards (IBS), which is the worldwide framework of basic rules and regulations for organic production and processing, and also the basis for IFOAM Accreditation. This work includes for example regular revisions of the IBS, urgent revisions of the IBS and the evaluation of inputs in organic agriculture.
