| Dear Joelle,
A big ' thank you' for publishing information about the Certified Naturally Farmed project.
It was good to read Georgina Catacora's thoughts in the March PGS Newsletter about what to call the formal certifiers. I have been calling them the 'official certifiers' in Australia. From here on I will call them the Third Party Certifiers and perhaps promote our CNF group as being part of the PGS World Group, or words to that effect. This idea would then allow a PGS group to function free of centralised control (as in the third party systems) yet have the credibility of being part of a World Group.
I know these are brave words, I suspect traditional third party systems will eventually swing more in the direction of the PGS concept.
Sincerely
Geoff Simmons. |
