The Xique-Xique Network has as focal axis issues related to agroecology, feminism and economic solidarity. It is a movement of women's organizations. Its legal status as a joint-marketing partnership of the Xique Xique-network extends to the state of Rio Grande do Norte. It possesses a charter of principles and has since 2004 been concerned with how to discuss participatory guarantee system. A participatory certification workgroup was formed to propose a draft document. The network has its structure constituted by a board that meets monthly (representatives of each nucleus and consultants that directly contribute to the network) and a governing council which is a larger body that meets every 3 months (a representative each of the 8 nucleus). It also has additionally an annual meeting. Members use a set of terminology to denote consumers e.g. the term "seeker" denotes a person that looks for alternatives and new ways of relating rather than "consumer" in the sense of consumerism.
They have a registration form for both individuals and groups. The certification council is composed of 5 persons: 2 producers, 2 technicians and 1 seeker and they together make inspection visits of the farms. It also has the council of ethics composed of: 15 people, the committee of the PGS and 40 people representing the nuclei. The ethics council decides on the use of the seal after having a general overview and then gives its final decision at the quarterly meeting of the governing body.
Nearly all nuclei have a weekly market.

La Red Xique-Xique tiene como ejes de focalización la Agroecología, el Feminismo y la Economía Solidaria. Es un movimiento de organización de mujeres. Se constituye la personería jurídica como una asociación de comercialización solidaria -red Xique Xique- y se amplia para el estado de Rio Grande do Norte. Construyeron su carta de principios y desde el 2004 tienen la preocupación de cómo discutir el sistema participativo de garantía. Un grupo de trabajo de Certificacion Participativa se constituyó para proponer un documento. La red tiene su estructura, existe un consejo directivo que se reúne mensualmente (rpte de cada núcleo, y las asesorías que contribuyen directamente con la red) y un consejo gestor que es una reunión mas ampliada que se reúne cada 3 meses (un representante de todos los 8 núcleos) y hay un encuentro anual. Usan el término de “buscador” que busca alternativas, nuevas formas de relacionarse en lugar de “consumidor” que implica consumismo.
Cuentan con una ficha de registro tanto individual como para el grupo. El Consejo de certificación del núcleo está integrado por 5 personas; 2 productores, 2 técnicos y 1 buscador quienes hacen las visitas en las propiedades. Tambien cuenta con el Consejo de ética: 15 personas; el Consejo de Cert.Participativa: 40 personas representantes de los núcleos. Quien decide el uso o no del sello es el consejo de ética que da su parecer final en la reunión trimestral del consejo gestor.
Casi todos los núcleos tienen una feria semanal.
