All the latest innovations at SANA 2014.
The 26th International Exhibition of Organic and Natural Products opens its doors in Bologna’s fair district from Saturday 6 September to Tuesday 9 September.
Organized by BolognaFiere in partnership with FederBio and with the patronage of the Ministries of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies, The Environment, and Economic Development, and EXPO 2015, and the support of IFOAM, SANA remains Italy’s top trade fair for certified organic foods, herbal products and natural and organic cosmetics.
The Three Sectors of the Trade Fair
The SANA halls dedicated to Foods offer visitors the latest innovations in fresh and conserved certified organic products. The Wellness sector will be exhibiting health and personal care products: foods for special diets (gluten-free diabetes and sports nutrition), natural and organic cosmetics, herbal products, food supplements, functional foods and natural treatments. Lastly the sector of Other Natural Products devoted to eco-friendly daily living presents home cleaning products, organic clothing and furniture untreated with chemical substances.
The heart of the trade fair will host the latest innovative products presented by exhibitors and marketed after 1st October 2013. SANA visitors will judge the entries, voting for the winning products for each exhibition sector.
After the outstanding success at last year’s edition, SANA shop returns offering a space in which only SANA exhibitions can sell their products to the public.
International Buyers Lounge
The area dedicated to B2B meetings between SANA exhibitors and foreign buyers will host delegations from Australia, Austria, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates and United States.
SANA Observatory 2014
As in past editions, SANA Observatory, in partnership with con SINAB (the organic information system set up by the Italian Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies), will provide information on the trend of organic farming in Italy: from key figures on the organic supply chain to market dynamics and consumer behaviour.
Once again, SANA 2014 will be flanked by a rich cultural programme of seminars and dedicated meetings offering operators and informed visitors update opportunities starting with the SANA Academy courses.
A new feature of the 2014 edition is the range of courses to be held during SANA, organised by the Akesios Group together with SANIS (School of Nutrition and Supplements in Sport) and the scientific society SINSeB (Italian Society of Sport Nutrition and Wellness) on specific supplements for amateur and professional sports, and diets related to physical activity.
Featuring Prevention, Functional Foods and Nutraceuticals
Meetings on prevention and health maintenance scheduled by the Institute of Health Sciences Foundation chaired by Professor Enrico Roda are certain to attract large numbers of participants.
