IFOAM is organizing a conference on Organic Certification to be held 15-17 November 2006 in Rome, Italy.
Part of the agenda and speakers have been invited to present an oral paper. In order to receive different ideas and approaches IFOAM is calling for papers on the following three topics.
- Certification services in Developing Countries
- Papers should address the experiences and challenges of building up certification and inspection in developing countries.
- Innovations for Certification Efficiency
- Papers should describe the use of technology and other innovative tools to improve the efficient of inspection and certification.
- Stakeholder Expectations of Organic Certification
- Papers should cover the expectations of key stakeholder groups, especially consumers and producers, of the value that should be delivered by organic certification.
Deadline: The submission of the abstract needs to be sent in by 1st of September 2006.
The complete paper must be submitted by 1st of November 2006.
