Place: Online and North America. Once we gain more experience with this program it will be opened to students in other parts of the world. Training language: English Dates: Anytime Duration: Self-directed study - average completion time is 2 years Cost: Registration fee is 350.00 Euros / US$ 450.00 per year. Students incur additional expenses for self-directed online and classroom studies. Funding: No Target groups and admission requirements: Landscapers, market gardeners Training objectives:
- To provide basic knowledge of the science of organic horticulture, and its pratical applications in ornamental horticulture and small scale food production
- To enable students to gain a broader knowledge of environmentally sound practices than could be offered at a single educational faqcility or workplace
- To grant students academic credit for many of the excellent and diverse holistic programs offered across North America.
Training program:
- Combination of online study, classroom courses and work experience
- Students work with a mentor to complete the Gaia College Certificate of Organic Landscape Management, classroom courses of the student's choice, and practical work experience.
