Cost: During the training periods in Sweden and Uganda, the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) will cover all costs for meals and accommodation, as well as all training costs, including lectures, literature, documentation and study visits.
Funding: Yes

Target groups and admission requirements: The admission will be based on a number of selection criteria, including adequate educational background, practical experience and relevancy of the candidate’s position. Consideration will also be given to gender balance and geographical distribution of participants.

Training objectives: The general aim of the program is to create conditions for quantitative as well as qualitative development of organic agriculture in the countries covered by the program.

  • Inspection & certification initiatives in the participants’ home countries
  • Markets for organic products
