SASA - Social Accountability in Sustainable Agriculture
SASA- Social Accountability in Sustainable Agriculture was a collaborative project of four main social and environmental verification systems in sustainable agriculture:
FLO  - Fair Trade Labelling Organisation International
SAI   - Social Accountability International
SAN - Sustainable Agriculture Network
IFOAM -  The International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements

SASA objectives
1) To improve social auditing processes in agriculture and
2) To foster closer cooperation and shared learning between the four initiatives through 9 pilot audit exercises worldwide over two years (2002-2004).

The final conference in April 2004 in Rome concluded as main result a bunch of opportunities for cooperation between the participating organisations.
