IFOAM Action Group

The IFOAM Action group is home to IFOAM Regional Bodies, IFOAM Sector Platforms and IFOAM Daughter Organizations.

Diversification into these structures is part of the IFOAM regionalization and specialization process.  IFOAM recognized the need, value and potential of implementing a more proactive approach on a regional level as well as from a sector specific perspective.  Regional Bodies and Sector Platforms, which fall under the term Self-Organized Structures (SoS), were established in response to this.  IFOAM Daughter Organizations were set up to focus on a particular activity and perform explicit tasks such as accreditation and funding support.
