Organic Landmarks

IFOAM has been setting organic landmarks since 1972, which define Organic Agriculture, its principles and scope, and provide a Family of Standards that draws the line between what is organic and not organic. We also develop position papers outlining IFOAM’s official standing on a number of key topics, as well as policy briefs, which serve as guidance for organic regulators.
