Target groups and admission requirements: Converted as well as potential farmers, extension workers from government agences or NGOs, organic food operators, organic compost / fertilizer manufacturer, As for kitchen gardening - any interested people.

Training objectives:
ORGANIC FARMING:
  • To get an overview and a better understanding of good organic farming practices as well as its basic concept.
  • To familiarize participants with the concepts and principles of organic agriculture.
  • To impart theoritical and practical knowledge / techniques, such as soil & water conservation / crop management / pest management.

ORGANIC KITCHEN GARDENING:
  • To have better understanding of relationship between man & nature
  • To impart practical knowledge regarding organic production to obtain safe and healthy food but also as a tool for personal development
  • To encourage family participation & community interaction, The experiences and knowledge gained can then be extended to shools & communities at large.
  • To encourage participants to recycle household / canteen and garden wastes.
  • To create awareness of the hazards in the use of agrochemicals

4. Marketing of Organic Farming products
5. SOM (Certification of Malaysia)
