Training course: Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip)/MSc in Organic Farming

Approximately 5000 euros for PgDip and 6000 euros for MSc for EU students. Costs are higher for non EU students

Target groups and admission requirements: Admission requirements are ideally a first degree in agriculture, biology or geography, although no strict criteria laid down. Target groups are those wishing to develop careers or businesses within the organic food and farming sector.
Training objectives:
8 modules studied over a two year period for the PGDip plus an additional project for the MSc. Modules include Organic Farming Profession, Organic Crop Production, Organic Forage and Livestock Production, Marketing and Business Management and Soils and Nutrient Cycling.
Training program: On campus introductions and assessments, on line learning, on line discussions and tutorials and projects and essays.
