Alan Chadwick

-Alan Chadwick (1909–1980)

Alan Chadwick was born and raised in England. He was a master gardener, a leading innovator of organic farming techniques, and an influential Biodynamic gardening educator. He was a student of Rudolf Steiner, and was inspirational to the development of the California Cuisine movement. He moved to the US and established the Center for Agroecology and Sustainable Food Systems at the University of California which is now a world renowned research center helping small scale farmers use organic gardening for high yields.
