Training course: Advanced Certificate: Organic Agriculture Facilitation (SAQA 49626 - NQF 5) Place: Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, and Goettingen, Germany Training language: English Dates: Admission is in September each year for South Africa, March for Germany Duration: 4 months (3 modules of four weeks each with assignments during breaks) Cost: South Africa: US $500 Per module Germany: Euro 800 Per module (tuition only). Funding: Students have to find their own fees or scholarships, and cover transport and accommodation costs. Target groups and admission requirements: Ordinary level school leavers with good passes in English, and at least three years of organic farming experience. Training objectives: Train facilitators who can work practically with poor rural communities to promote Organic Farming especially in Africa, Asia and Latin America.
