SANA 2012 - 24th Exhibition on the Organic and Natural Business Worlds
From Saturday 8 September to Tuesday 11 September 2012 the certified organic and the natural business worlds will meet in Bologna (Italy) at SANA, the international trade-fair leader in the fields in Italy organized by BolognaFiere at Fiera District. The 24th edition of the show will be opened on the 8th of September by Corrado Clini - Italian minister for the environment.
Given the successful outcome of last year’s edition, with more than 25,000 professional visitors (900 of whom coming from abroad), the exhibition format will be targeted to professional traders this year too.
In the Food&Beverage section only companies exhibiting certified organic products are admitted whose certification has been previously assessed by a technical commission.
Wellness is reserved to natural food integrators, organic and natural cosmetics, natural treatments, products and devices for personal care. The Officinal Space, an area dedicated to officinal herbs producers and supply chain operators, will host workshops and SANA Academy courses on officinal herbs anti-aging properties and their effects on the immune system.
The Other Natural Products section is reserved to natural textiles producers, proposals for hobbies, the ecological living and the leisure time.
Over 150 innovative products recommended by the exhibitors will be showcased in the NOVELTY AREA. Innovation features deal with production, processing, packing and packaging, with special emphasis on environmental sustainability.
SANA will host qualified delegations of buyers from Russia, China, Usa, Canada and Brazil. Among the delegates, representatives of Mundo Verde and Pão de Açúcar (Brasil), United Natural Foods, Inc., Natural Grocers, Campo Verde Solutions, Purely Organic, Dean & De Luca and Pondini Imports (Usa), AZBUKA VKUSA, Organic Trade/Ecoproduct, Total CityFood and the Bahetle chain(Russia), SHANGHAI DONGSUO TRADING CO. Opportunities for professional updating will be offered by SANA Forum, the program of conferences and training courses for professionals that will deal with all the major themes : organic farming and food, certification control systems, functional foods, natural healthcare.
