Interested in our organic advocacy donation campaign? IFOAM’s advocacy for the
organic world is an investment in the future. In 2010, we designed
and successfully launched three campaigns Food Security, Climate Change and Biodiversity with (very limited) available financial means. To unleash
the potential of these three campaigns in 2011, we need support from
the organic world. ![]()
“IFOAM should speak out for the Organic Movement at the
international level!"
“You have to represent Organic at the UN Bodies, the Development Banks and the Donor Agencies!” “We need IFOAM to make sure Organic is heard!” These were the expectations most often mentioned during the strategic consultation of the IFOAM membership in early 2010.
It is true, the world is challenged. Poverty, hunger, climate
change, genetic diversity loss, ecocide and land grabbing are a
devastating burden to our planet. We have an alternative to
conventional agricultural strategies: The Organic Alternative!
We reject the belief held by many decision makers that agriculture
has to be industrialized. In fact, until organic concepts are taken
up in international policies and strategies, the problems will get
even more severe, and the organic sector will continue missing out
on opportunities worth billions of Dollars every year.
Do you want to benefit from the international exposure that our
advocacy campaigns attract? Krav did (Briefing in the Financial Times). Talk to us if you are interested in partnering
or sponsoring
specific advocacy activities.
